One Poem by Jeff Steinle
Obedience To My Siren
Obedient with crossed fingers,
crossed eyes, and a mind that lingers.
Not knowing trembling kisses,
but broken jaw wishes.
Hanging shadow, valentine rose
strait to your heart I propose.
A kingdom of our own
from which we can never be thrown.
The gifts you bring
with scope and singing.
Sirens call soul to drawl
me to you enthralling and new.
