Tourists

Two girls
fanny packed and panting,
sunglasses covering their eyes completely
hands holding onto their
waists, for support,
stop to survery the anasazi ruin.
they see a sign:
140 feet climb, it declares
in chipping paint,
and turn away.
perhaps another day.
